Best Pizza in Las Vegas (2019 edition)
The Best Pizza Joints On The Strip
Las Vegas is known for having some of the best high end dining in the world, but when you want a down to earth slice of pizza, where do you turn? This post will help you find the very best pizza on and off the strip!
What’s more American than Pizza? The cheesy bready (if that is not a word, it is now!) goodness may be one of your biggest guilty pleasures and sin city wouldn’t be truly sinful without gluttony. While there’s no shortage of pies anywhere on (or off) the Vegas strip, you didn’t come here for your average slice. When the hangover comes a calling and you need the comfort food that’ll make your head stop ringing, look no further. Here’s a list of some of our favorite pizzerias and places to get your strip pizza fix
Secret Pizza @ Cosmopolitan Resort
The gourmet 5 star restaurants and celebrity chef joints are too numerous to count when speaking of Vegas eateries, but sometimes you just say to yourself “I’d really just like to find a nice hole in the wall.”
Well look no further…. Or maybe just a little bit further.
Secret Pizza Inside the Cosmopolitan is literally a hole in the wall. Don’t follow the signs, just follow your nose to this small unlisted pizza joint on the 3rd level. At around $5 a slice it is some of the cheaper pizza you will find on the strip. Not a place to throw your next pizza party or lounge with your friends but if your looking for a classic slice of New York style pizza without the frills, Secret Pizza will be a sure bet.
Pin-up Pizza @ Planet Hollywood
Like anything rockabilly? Pin-up Pizza is a stop for you.
Located inside the Planet Hollywood, next to the sports book, Pin-up Pizza offers enormous slices, amidst vintage pin-up decor. These thin crust pies are made daily, and with access directly off the strip, this is a great location for grabbing a quick slice. Just make sure to bring your appetite as a single slice is bigger than your head.
Five50 Pizza @ Aria Resort
The Aria is a beautiful and unique Casino and resort, with a plethora of modern art and one of a kind eating establishments.
Five50 Pizza fits in perfectly, named for its wood-fired oven that cooks it’s pizzas at 550 degrees. You may walk in wanting a slice of pizza and find yourself trying some Lamb Ragout and enjoying a craft beer. With seating available, feel free to lounge until the tables beckon you back.
Flour & Barley @ The Linq
If a brick oven pizza joint is more your style, check out Flour & Barley at the Linq.
Boasting a full menu of delicious cuisine outside of pizza, Flour & Barley has a friendly modern atmosphere and is great for families. The large patio allows you to enjoy the crisp Vegas lights and get in your fill of people watching. This is a great pitstop on your way to or from the observation wheel.
800 Degrees @ SLS Resort
Who said pizza couldn’t be healthy? The folks at 800 degrees wanted to challenge the status quo, bringing you cleanly sourced ingredients and organic options for you health nuts.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available and they only cook with extra virgin olive oil, making this guilty pleasure not so guilty without skimping on the pleasure.
Located inside the SLS casino, you can build your own pizza or choose from a specialty pie, and don’t forget to wash it all down with your choice of over 150 different sodas.
Joe’s NY Pizza @ Harmon and Paradise
Sometimes the best things in life are worth the effort. Joe’s NY Pizza is a short trip down Harmon, just off the main strip, and to many locals and tourists alike it is well worth the journey.
This family owned pizza parlor won “Pizza of the year” by fellow pizza industry insiders at the the pizza trade show that visits Vegas annually (2013, 2014, 2015 winners).
The menu boasts many different pies, from standard pepperoni to literal pizza pie (complete with a top crust) containing a plethora of meats and cheeses to satisfy any palette.
As an added bonus, they offer some of the best french fries in Las Vegas, and you get a coupon off your next order on every takeout box.
… And because it sits next to Shaq’s very own chicken place, you never know when you will meet the big man himself… COOL!
What is the BEST Pizza in Las Vegas?
Pizza is so subjective, we dare not declare a true “winner” in this contest. That said, any of the above listed pizza places will knock your socks off and leave you with a great taste in your mouth.
